You should know that I don't find hawkes threatening. My husband thinks I'm crazy. I'm all, "If I saw one in the wild, I would totally approach it." I feel the same about coyotes. I am doomed to die in the wilderness.
Great picture! Hawks are awesome. Our football team is the Seahawks, but they've finally relented and are now the seagulls, after one embarrassing season after another.
I'm a Christian punk mommy, married to my hardcore husband. California transplants, raising our 5 kids in the American Heartland. I've never quite fit in - either the good girl hanging out with the bad kids, or the bad girl hanging out with the good kids.. stuck somewhere in the middle, and liking it that way. My coffee is black, my music is Christian, and my truth is embellished. Enjoy.
"If we are ever to turn toward a kindlier society and a safer world, a revulsion against the physical punishment of children would be a good place to start." - Dr. Benjamin Spock
